Theodore Robert Angradi
Theodore (Ted) Angradi passed away on November 18, 2018 in Greenville, SC at the age of 86. Ted grew up in the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania in Glen Lyon. He attended Wilkes College on an athletic scholarship. He graduated from Mansfield State College in 1956 and from Glassboro State College in 1967. Ted taught English for many years at Southern Regional High School in New Jersey. He was a popular teacher and an active supporter of student athletics. Ted and his family lived in Ocean County, New Jersey, mostly at Ship Bottom on Long Beach Island, from 1962 to 2004. In the late 60s and 70s, Ted was a Ship Bottom Borough Councilman and was active in the Exchange Club of Beach Haven. Ted and his wife Virginia were residents of Greenville, South Carolina since 2004. Ted enjoyed hosting friends, golf, and casino gaming.
In addition to his wife, Virginia, of 61 years, Ted is survived by his daughter, Lynne Angradi of Greenville; his son, Ted Angradi of Duluth, MN; three grandchildren, Jesse McLorie, Augustus Angradi, and Lincoln Angradi; and a sister, Marianne Tuza of Charleston, SC.

Do to the ransom sacrifice of Jesus Christ we all will see Theodore as well as all of our loved ones again.
“If in doubt throw it out!” These words of Mr. A’s have followed me all my life since learning Grammar from him in 1963. That guidance supported me as I practiced as a RN for 45 years. I still remember him sitting on his stool legs crossed and arms close to his body/ crossed and he’d take those glasses off to make a point after a pregnant pause…
Such Joy! His guidance has always been with me. I can’t believe you folks relocated just 70 miles south of the area I call home in the High Green Hills of western North Carolina, Asheville area.
I know he is at peace and may this memory of mine bring comfort to you. He touched many lives and made a difference. He left us better than when he came.
