OUR STORY

Welcome to Cannon-Byrd Funeral Homes and Memorial Park

Our “Heritage” in the funeral business started when the Cannon family opened in Fountain Inn, SC in 1879. The business was sold in 1991 and fell under corporate ownership. In 2012 W. Andrew Byrd and the late James A. Cannon partnered, re-enter the funeral business and reacquired the Fountain Inn funeral home and perpetual care cemetery in 2016 re-establishing the operations under private ownership. Today we operate as Cannon Byrd Funeral Homes and Memorial Park.

TESTIMONIALS

During a difficult time our family has faced this holiday season, Cannon Byrd Funeral Homes went above and beyond in every possible way. From the very first conversation, we were treated with compassion, patience, and genuine care.

I was given a beautiful service for my husband, and never once felt judged. They truly went above and beyond even checking on me weeks later it was never about money for them—it was caring for a grieving family.

Losing someone you love is never easy, but their support truly helped ease the burden during this heartbreaking time. We will always be thankful for the dignity and respect they showed throughout the entire process
