Ralph Dale Hawks

Dale Hawks, 74, of Fountain Inn, husband of Charleine Walker Hawks, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, December 21, 2017 while at home surrounded by his family.

Born in Galax, VA, he was a son of the late Ralph Warren Hawks and the late Lola Baugus Hawks. He was a long-time member of Calvary Baptist Church. Mr. Hawks served our country in the United States Army.

In addition to his wife, Charleine, Mr. Hawks is survived by sons, Reuben and his wife, Terrianne, of Taylors, Thomas of Kansas, Nathan of Fountain Inn, and Joseph of Fountain Inn; daughters, Stacey Hawks and Rachel Hawks, both also of Fountain Inn; and one brother, Robert Hawks and his wife, Jean, of Orangeburg.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 1:30 PM in Altizer Hall of Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Jerry Barron officiating.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.

A private committal service will be held on Friday morning in the M.J. “Dolly” Cooper Veterans Cemetery in Anderson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Calvary Baptist Church, Children’s Ministry, 3810 Grandview Dr, Simpsonville, SC 29680.

    Charlene,
    Bryce and I wanted you to know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time. We love and appreciate you and your family so much. I remember Dale the last time I saw him at Reuben’s wedding. Always had that smile on his face. Blessings to you and your family.
