Joan Elaine Durham Fowler
Joan Fowler, 77, of Mauldin, wife of Wilton Fowler, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, July 11, 2025 while at home surrounded by family.
Mrs. Fowler was the daughter of the late John Wayman & Mozelle Kelley Durham.
In addition to her husband, Wilton, she is survived by her step-children, Ronald Lee Fowler and Stephanie Dawn Fowler; her brothers, Mike Durham (Ann), and Lary Durham (Patti); her nieces & nephews, Daniel Dowell (Mandy), Kristie Gibson (Randy), Chad League (Jamie), Ashley Martinez, Kathryn Kusznia, and Danielle Reynolds; two step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 starting at 11:00 am at Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville, 313 N. Main St., Simpsonville.
The service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 12:30 pm.
Interment will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park.
Mr. Wilton. I am so sorry for your loss.The only time I had met Joan was at our Cannon-Byrd Christmas parties. I know you had great affection and love for her. May the Lord provide peace in your time of loss.

Joan was a beautiful person inside and out & a great friend. I’ll always treasure our times of going out for lunch after Church. I’ll miss her laugh & friendship. And her thoughtfulness ! She will be in my heart always. Love and hugs Wilton for you & your family. Debbie
