Mrs. Byrd, Sherri, Andy and all the Byrd family. We offer our sincere condolences to you all. Our brief association with Mr. Byrd causes us to grieve along with you; he made such an impression on me during my first meeting, such a kind and gentle spirit and such a warm welcome each time I was in his presence. His passing only strengthens my Faith in God and my believeth that Heaven is sweeter today than it was yesterday with his presence. May the Holy Spirit comfort you all during this time and please know that our(Joan and my) prayers continue on your behalf.
    Psalms C 116 V 15

  • Our love and prayers are with you today and every day Andy and Tyree. What a blessing to have a father like yours! It didn’t take a long time in his presence to know your father’s heart and to understand why you are the man you are today. You know in your mind how to deal with the grief you see everyday, but this time your grief will be much different and harder. It is so difficult to see your children grieve a grandparent and we send our love to Parker, Merritt and Claire. Always, Cathy and Harold

    Linda,
Karen came to see me today and to tell me about Wendell. I love you so much. You know I idolized you even as a child.

I have already been where you are tonight. It is a difficult time. You will never get over losing Wendell, but gradually the good memories will take the place of the pain you are feeling now.

I love you so much and pray for you and your sweet family. I pray for peace and that God will ease your pain right now. Wendell is with his Lord and we all hope to join him in Heaven when it is God’s Plan.
I pray that God will hold you close!
    Love and Prayers
    Carolyn
