So very sorry to hear that Gordon had passed away. Our condolences go out to the entire Garrett family. Have known him (Gordon) for many years, and was always a great gentleman. Will miss his smiling face at lunchtime at the Carolina Fine Foods. May God make smooth the path before you (all) in the trying days and months ahead.

So sorry about Uncle Gordon. He was always one of the kindest people I know, but so are all of the Garrett’s. He will be missed, but one thing is for sure, he is in heaven with our Lord and the wonderful Mrs. Mary Lou and Mr. David. We are praying for the entire family during this time. God bless you all.

Very sorry to learn the sad news about Gordon. He was a member of the Southern Bank Audit Dept when I joined it in 1974. Enjoyed immensely his engaging personality and learned much from the diligence and professionalism he displayed there and in other positions he held with the bank. It was my good fortune to have known him. My sincere condolences to the Garrett family.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Garrett family on the loss of Gordon. I just found out about his passing. We were high school classmates and later both were in banking in Greenville. Gordon was truly one of the good guys.
