Vivian C. Armstrong
Vivian C. Armstrong, 74, residing in Bellevue, OH, passed away peacefully Friday evening, April 8, 2022, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Vivian was born on October 26, 1947, in Fountain Inn, SC to the late James and Margaret (Arnold) Crowe.
Vivian was a dedicated employee of Cognis Manufacturing for 30 years in South Carolina, before retiring in 2002. In 2005, she moved to Norwalk to be closer to her family. Vivian was an active member of the Chapel in Norwalk and enjoyed bible studies and other church activities. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, decorating, watching basketball with her grandsons, cookouts, and school activities. Vivian’s greatest joy of all was spending time with her family.
Vivian is survived by her daughter, Dawn (Dave) Steffanni; 3 grandchildren, D.J. (Maddie), Devyn, and Dalton; 2 sisters, Barbara (Johnny) Casey, and Jane Landreth, and several nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives.
In addition to her parents, Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Larry “Joe” Armstrong, whom she was married to for 37 years.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Clear Spring Baptist Church, 301 Bethany Rd, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made toward a permanent memorial placed in Vivian’s honor to Dawn Steffanni at 4831 US Hwy 20 E., Bellevue, OH 44811 or to Southern Care Hospice, 9501 US HWY 250 N, Suite 2, Milan, OH 44846.

Dawn, sorry I could not make it to your Mother’s service today. We had appointments with dental surgeon at the same time as the service.
I thought a lot of your Mother and Dad and their family. I am glad you and your children are doing well and I know you rejoice that Mom is out of her suffering and at home with the Lord. I am thankful that you were able to care for her in her time of need and to bring her back to the area she loved and grew up in and where you had your beginning.
