Vic has always been such a good friend, colleague, mentor and sounding board for me. And he embodied the true spirit of a Legionnaire. All of us are with you, Carol, and family, whatever your needs.

I and my parents, Jack and Lynette Funderburk, lived next door to the Burrells on Watson Street 1952-1954. I have great memories of our times together, in and out of school. The Burrells invited our family into their home to watch TV, some evenings since we didn’t own a TV. Vic and I (and Dwight, although he was much younger) and other neighborhood children had great time together. My family moved to Westminster, SC when my dad became the pastor of the Wesleyan Church there and I lost touch with Vic until social media/Facebook came along. I am truly sorry about his death.

    • Thank you. Enjoyed your memories of time you spent with Vic

I will sorely miss chatting with Vic about our Sinclair Clan. I have many happy memories with my belated husband,
Carl William Sinclair, Sr. and our many visits to both their homes where we were always so welcome. I am remembering, especially, a visit one Christmas Eve and enjoyed so musht getting to be a part of seeing Vic and his brother, Dwight,
on Christmas morning; and another Christmas when Vic’s mother’s sister, Kitty and her family from FL and our family spent Christmas Dinner with the Burrell family. My heart goes out to all his beloved family members asking for prayers of comfort and peace to all.
