Thomas “Tom” Ellis Nimmo
Tom Nimmo, 58, of Greenville passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2018. For 24 years, he was married to the love of his life, Sherry Hodges Nimmo. Born in New Jersey, he was the son of the late Richard David Nimmo, Sr. and the late Pauline Serafin Nimmo.
Tom’s passion in life showed in everything he did. Music, cars, motorcycles, and friends all inspired his passion and dedication. None however could match his devotion to his family and his Lord and Savior.
In addition to his wife Sherry, he is survived by a daughter, Ashley Garrett and her husband Josh of Greenville; two grandsons, William and Walker Garrett; one brother Robert Nimmo, Jr. and his wife Lisa of New Jersey; two Nieces, Dr. Amy Grayson and her husband Jay and Jessica Richards; and a brother-in-law Carl Richards.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by two sisters, Phylis Richards and Beverly Star Nimmo.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Heritage Funeral Home beginning at 2:00 PM. The Funeral Service will follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel at Heritage Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cannon Memorial Park in Fountain Inn.
Sherry, I am do sorry to hear about Tommy. I enjoyed riding with him and always appreciated his help. Prayers are with you and the family.
