Tesla Denise Cox
Tesla Denise Cox, 31, of Simpsonville, was born on September 30, 1991 and went to be with our Lord on April 17, 2023.
Tesla was a graduate of Mauldin High School, and attended The University of Iowa on a full ride gymnastics scholarship. She was on the Deans List at Greenville Technical College. She was beautiful, funny, very talented and lived life on the edge, always looking for the next adventure. She was fearless, surprising, and dramatic. Her favorite things in life were her dog Belle and her fabulous designer shoes.
She will be greatly missed by her parents Bennett and Connie Cox, her brother Corey Fulbright and her niece Chloe Fulbright; her maternal grandmother Frankie Brown; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She joins her maternal grandfather Dean Brown and her paternal grandparents Patricia and Jimmy Cox in eternal life.
A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 12:00 pm at Clear Springs Baptist Church with Pastor David Shiflet officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church starting at 11:00 am.

I have done nothing else but think of you since i got the terrible news. It is so hard for me to comprehend that you will no longer be at family get togethers and whatever else we all choose to do. I have lost loved ones that have been close. I have buried a husband and a father. But your death……your death is profound to me. I don’t know if its because you were so young or because i just had a connection with you. But you will always be remembered. You will always be loved. And you will always be in our hearts and our minds. I truly will miss you Tesla.
A bright light has left us all, but Tesla will always be with us in our hearts. There will never be another like her. May the peace of Christ be with you, Connie, Ben, and all the family.
I am so sorry for your loss. My heart breaks for you and your family. I’m keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers my sweet friend.

Tesla you will be missed and I know that god has you in his arms now and you were such a great friend for so long and one heck of a awesome athlete in gymnastics and all the kids loved u teaching them to be good and to one day go to college and be as great as you were. I know it’s a hard time for your family and friends. that we all have lost a happy person so soon . You will get to have all the shoes u want now and I’m sure you teaching them gymnastics in heaven now . I’m sure there’s a lot of shoes in heaven waiting on u to wear .
