Terry Stogner was an awesome surveyor. He provided many plats for our office over the last decade. He was always our go-to man. I will miss his stories of southern Greenville County, explanations of how older surveyor equipment worked, and rants about the county plat approval office. Whenever he ended a phone conversation, he would sign off by saying, “all right now, you go back to doing nothing.” He was kind, fair, and really good at his job. To the family, I am sorry for your loss. Sincerely, Jenks

  • Very sorry to learn of Terry’s passing. He and I knew each other since grade school. For many years, Terry has done surveys for me. I believe he was the most knowledgeable land surveyor around. He was always fair and honest, and like others have said, always had a good story to tell. He will be missed! Prayers to all the family.

    Phil and family –

So very sorry to hear of Terry’s passing, especially so young. May God grant you all much grace to grieve him well in these strange days. We only knew of him and through praying for him, but knew of his reputation as the finest surveyor anyone ever knew.

    In His Mighty Grip,

    Ward and Jody

Family of Terry, I was so saddened at the news of his homegoing. Terry was a good friend to my late husband, Rev. John Woods and myself.

Terry was the best Main Street neighbor ever. He and Larry were good clean fun. He always kept an eye out for me and loved trying to play practical jokes. He was so looking forward to life on the farm. He worked hard and played hard. I always enjoyed him and his stories. I feel privileged to have been his work neighbor and will miss him always.
