Susan Kay Thomson
Susan Thomson, 58, of Simpsonville, wife of Michael Roger Thomson, while at home surrounded by her family, went to be with her Lord and Savior, after a long illness, on Saturday, July 25, 2015.
Born in Greenville, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Carver Grant and the late Kathleen Johnson Grant. Mrs. Thomson was a member of Brookwood Church in Simpsonville. She was a devoted and beloved wife, mom, step-mom, and grandmother.
In addition to her husband, Mike, Mrs. Thomson is survived by her son, Zachary Thomson, of the home; step-son, Michael Thomson, and his wife, Kerri, of Alabama; step-daughter, Michelle McCullough, of Simpsonville; step-grandchildren, Morgan and Marlana McCullough, and Christina and Michael Thomson; and one brother, Keith Grant, of Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Grant.
The family will receive friends starting at 10:00 am on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Heritage Funeral Home.
A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 am in the Chapel at the funeral home.
Interment will follow in Graceland East Memorial Park Cemetery, 2206 Woodruff Rd., Simpsonville.
