Shannon Michelle Dobson

Shannon M Dobson, 53, wife of Terry Lee Dobson of Simpsonville, passed away at home on Friday, February 24, 2023.  Born in Seneca, she was a daughter of late Broadus H and Joan Wilson Barrett.

In addition to her husband, Shannon is survived by three sons, Benjamine Dobson, Zach Dobson, and Andrew Dobson; three grandchildren, Isabella Dobson, Maddie Dobson, and Olivia Smith; her sister Tiffiney Aziz; the mother of her grandchildren whom she thought of as a daughter, Danni Smith; and her son-in-law Brian Bleicher, Jr.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 3, 2023, at Heritage Funeral Home from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.  A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1301 Boiling Springs Rd, Greer, SC 29650, beginning at 1:00 pm.  Forty minutes prior to the service, a viewing will be held at the church for those who were unable to attend the visitation.  Burial will follow at Graceland West Memorial Park, 4814 White Horse Road, Greenville, SC  29611.

    So Sorry to her passing. I remember her well as a child. She had beautiful curly Hair.

    She was a second mother to me. I never wanted to leave her house, she was so kind, loving and welcoming to me and everyone. I’ll miss you Shannon.

  • I believe the hardest part of healing after you lost someone you love is recovering the you that went away with them , hope you know the family loved you Stanley Keith harrell (Rocky) and katelin Barnett who will always remember you and hopes of meeting again some day and letting you know thank you for everything you done

  • She was very well though very well loved kind loving caring for many people she will be missed I loved her she’s a great person

  • If I press go out to the family of the boys in the grandchildren and very deeply about her children and a grandchildren she would go beyond for all of them
