David,Ann, and the rest of the Roberts family. As you are aware, Bill and Sara were like a second family to me. I have known them all of my life. When they were married and moved into their first house on the mill village in Fountain Inn, they moved into the house that I was born in. They were the sweetest ,and caring people that I could ever call as my friends. We were members at Fairview Street Baptist Church with them for a long time. Later they invited Barbara and me to come to Holly Ridge Baptist Church. I have miss my friend Bill and now “Miss Sara” will be missed as well. As Bill used to say, “one day I will have a new body” now the can have new ones together. To all of you, my God hold you close in his grace and love. I know that God’s words are true and we can all look forward to seeing them again. RIP sweet lady. Your friend in Christ. P.S. I know that you will meet Barbara, for I know that she loved you both very much.

I lived next door to Bill and Sara when i was a little girl. Knew them for years and loved them . Went to Fairview Baptist Church until I married and moved away. I am so sorry for your loss and sorry that I did not know she or Bill passed until they were already gone. I know you will miss them both but they are in Heaven together again. God Bless all of you in this time of sorrow. Two of the sweetest people I have ever known.

David, Ann and the rest of our cousins. Please know that our prayers are with you during this difficult season of life. Mom (Edith Roberts McKittrick) loved Bill and Sara like she loved her sisters and brothers. Mom and Bill are first cousins. I can remember when they lived close to downtown Simpsonville. We would all go visit. I know we faithfully visited every December, because we would always park our car in Aunt Beulah’s driveway to attend the Simpsonville Christmas Parade. Mom had told us stories of Charles, Bill and all of her siblings spending the summer with their Grandparents on the farm in Gray Court. That’s how she got so close to both of them.
We grew to love Bill and Sara as well. I always loved to hear Sara talk, she had the best story telling voice. I could sit and listen to her tell family events of the past for hours.
Please know that we will continue to pray for your family as the Lord places you in our thoughts (Col. 1:9-14)
Your parents have left a godly legacy for future generations. I am so thankful that we will get to see them again in Heaven because of what God did when He gave us Jesus. (John 3:16-17)
May God be nearer to you than He ever has before is my prayer,
Your cousins from Simpsonville The McKittricks:
    Edith (Grady) Roberts McKittrick
    Barbara (Byron) Knuth
    Ben (Dana) McKittrick
    Becky (Tom) Slovenski
    Pam (Rocky) Whitmore

Ann and David, I just found out about Aunt Sarah. If I had known about her, I would have been there for you. Terry and I have you in our prayers. Love you both.
