Ronald E. Miller

SSGT Ronald “Ron” Earl Miller, 72, of Gray Court, beloved husband of Hellon D. Miller, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022 surrounded by his family. Born in Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late Jasper Bruce and Betty Ginn Miller. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Daniel Bryant (Dohn), Roger Miller (Shana), Rhonda Wyatt (David), Robin Gantt (Paul); fourteen grandchildren Christopher Wyatt, Crislynn Mullins, Danielle Wyatt, Sarah Zelaya, Amanda Miller, William Miller, Douglas Hampton, Shaleigh Miller, Koral Wyatt, Roze Miller, Chloe Gantt, Courtney Gantt, Oceania Wyatt, and Ellonore Gantt; five great-grandchildren CJ James, Rose Wyatt, Bridget Wyatt, Jolene Wyatt, and Oliver Wolownik; a sister, Bunny Whitehead; three brothers, Jerry Miller, Mike Miller, and Sonny Miller.  

He was preceded in death by a sister, Sarah Hutcheson and a brother, Joseph Miller. 

A visitation will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Rabun Creek Baptist Church at 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will follow starting at 1:00 pm. Interment will be at Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park in Fountain Inn, SC. 

Flowers are welcome or donation can be made to Rabun Creek Baptist Church, 17045 Highway 101 S, Gray Court, SC 29645 or to The Veterans Last Patrol, 140 Venture Boulevard, Spartanburg, SC 29306.

    Ronald E.Miller was such a good man, husband, and father, and a faithful follower of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

    Ron Miller, who faithfully loved his family, faithfully loved his church, faithfully loved his Lord Jesus Christ, and faithfully loved his country. I counted it as an honor to have him as a friend!
    We ask our Heavenly Father to bring comfort and peace to Helen and the entire family. We love y’all.
