Rev. Paul Franklin Blackstock, Sr.

Rev. Paul Franklin Blackstock, Sr., 87, of Simpsonville, widower of Bobbie Jean Blackstock, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 13, 2021.

Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Barney & Nettie Roper Blackstock.

Rev. Blackstock is survived by his sons, Rev. Paul Franklin Blackstock, Jr. and his wife, Brenda Gail, of Piedmont, and Rev. Daniel Michael Blackstock and his wife, Carolyn, of Gray Court; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and three brothers, John Blackstock, Silas Blackstock, and Lonnie Childers.

He was preceded in death by one daughter, Terrie Blackstock Randolph; three brothers and four sisters.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, February 21, 2021 at 1:30 p.m. at the Hickory Tavern Church of God with Rev. Chad Jordan officiating. Burial will follow the service in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday starting at 1:00 p.m..
