Kate we are to hear of Carl’s passing. We will remember the good times that Carl, Dan Davis and I had together for many years growing up. He was part of our wedding 68 years ago. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you and the family.

    Kate and family,
I always thought highly and fondly of Carl. He was a dear classmate that I will never forget. I regret not keeping in better contact. He helped me make a good shop grade for Mr Whitehead. One semester he gave me a piece of driftwood to make a lamp with. And the final semester he gave me a shoe box (that I still have) to turn in. If you needed something, Carl was there. Loving memories remain, Bill 💞🙏🏼🎚

  • Carl was a gentle giant. He and Kate met in our classroom at Paris school. Both he and Kate were so kind. As a boy Carl was always a man. He was such a family man that he chose working with the family business rather than school sports where he would have excelled. Every afternoon after school Carl would ride his bike to the job site and drive a tractor or grader until dark. Though our lives drifted apart I never totally lost Kate and Carl as Carl worked I’m the automotive business. They began in Greenville then to Myrtle Beach then back to Greenville. Carl you will be greatly missed. All loving memories. Erskine Kirksey

    Kate and Moody Family,
Carl was very considerate, friendly and goal orientated. I feel honored to have had Carl and Kate as class mates. Though we went our separate ways after school, Carl and Kate’s memories were always there. The world is less one great individual.

  • Carl and Kate were classmates and Carl’s dad was a good friend of my dad, and helped us on our farm. Bless the family ✝️🙏❤️,
