Rachael Clark Griffith

Rachael C. Griffith, 86, of Fountain Inn, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.

Born in Pickens, SC, she was a daughter of the late Dee & Cumin Masters Clark. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church Fountain Inn. She retired from Kemet Manufacturing and worked for many years at Meyers Arnold Department Store.

Mrs. Griffith is survived by her husband, Charles Grady Griffith, Sr; her daughters, Kathy Case of Fountain Inn, and Sondra Gulyassy of CA; grandchildren, Shannon and Crystal Case, and Rachel, Keni & Andrew Gulyassy; great-grandchildren, Landon Case, Anna Marie Dow, Jayden Chapman, and Caden Gulyassy.

She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Edward “Eddie” Charles Case; and three sisters, Virginia Britain, Dottie Stephens, and Louise Charles.

Due to the current CDC COVID-19 guidelines, a private cryptside service for the immediate family will be held in Cannon Memorial Park.

The family requests that memorials be made to: The Good News Club, Fountain Inn First Baptist Church, 206 N. Weston Street, Fountain Inn, SC 29644 or to the Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Ave, Greenville, SC 29605.

    Uncle Charles, Kathy, Sondra and family…
    We are so sorry to hear of Rachel’s passing. She was such a sweet and special lady. Always loved being around her.

    Aunt Rachel was the sweetest lady. I always loved coming to Greenville with our family to visit. Kathy, Sondra and family, you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
