Pamela Jane Thompson Soria

Pam Soria, 66, of Fountain Inn, wife of Sergio Soria, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 17, 2022.

She was the daughter of Dorothy Spoone Thompson and the late David Hellams Thompson.

In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Soria is survived by her two daughters, Sarah Soria Dukes (John) of Chapin and Stephanie Soria of Fountain Inn; three beloved grandchildren, Jordan Grace Dukes, David Jackson Dukes, and Joshua Christopher Dukes; one brother Mike Thompson, Sr. (Martha); one sister Sheron Fraylick; two aunts, Loretta Woods and Brenda Knight; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pam was born and raised in Fountain Inn, SC. She was a former employee of Kemet Electronics and The Snack Bar. Her favorite role was that of a devoted and loving wife, mother, grammy, daughter, sister, and friend. She faithfully attended and served her Lord and Savior as a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Pam will be remembered for her sweet, laid-back spirit. She enjoyed listening to gospel music and cheering for the Atlanta Braves, but she loved nothing more than spending time with her grandchildren.

The family will receive friends Sunday, November 20, 2022 starting at 2:00 pm at Cannon – Byrd Funeral Home in Fountain Inn.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel officiated by Dr. Jim Spencer and Pastor John Dukes. Interment will follow in Cannon – Byrd Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1279 S. Frontage Rd., Fountain Inn, SC 29644.

I am so very sorry to hear about your mother. It is hard to lose someone you love. The consolation is that she is in a better place. A place we aspire to go one day so that we can be reunited with our loved ones and see our Lord face to face instead of through faith.
