      Pauline,
We do appreciate you remembering us. We have many fond memories of you and your family, not to mention us being next door neighbors.
I will stop by the Cleaners if I happen to be in the Kershaw area. You are right, we have not been down that way since Carolyn Croxton’s funeral. By the way Carolyn West, my dad’s sister, is still living. She recently fell and broke her hip, however, she survived surgery and is now on a walker. She is also 96. I hope I have some of those genes.

I have such pleasant memories of her – especially tending to her beautiful flowers and her infectious, jolly laughter. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.-

Loved her as a teacher and will never forget her sweet smile. We were so glad that she got to our 50th class reunion several years ago; it was hard to believe she was as old as she was because she didn’t look it at all. Many thoughts and prayers for you all as you go through this time of grief and loss.

Jane and Lewis, your Mother was a true Southern Belle and genuine sweetheart! She treated me like one of you when Harry and I were roaming Brewer Field. She leaves the greatest testament: a life well lived and the character of the children and grandchildren who will love her forever. My deepest sympathies to you at this time of sorrow for you, and yet recognition of the joy of the great Resurrection. Bob Perry
