Nancy Walker Killian

Nancy Killian, 75, of Simpsonville, wife of Steven S. Killian for forty years, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Born in Boston, MA, Mrs. Killian was the daughter of the late James & Eleanor Whitcomb Walker. She was a member of Fountain Inn Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband, Steve, she is survived by three children, Jane Killian, Carol Killian and James Killian and his wife, Jess; two grandchildren, Walker and Levi Killian; and two sisters, Ann Walker (Ed Morgan), and Victoria Walker.

Nancy earned her bachelor’s degree from Tufts University and MBA from Babson College. She began her career at a national public accounting firm in Boston and was a CPA. Nancy moved to Greer in 1982, spearheading the financial department of Avco Lycoming’s new plant, and met Steve two years later. She then worked with Steve at Ware’s Auto Parts and Killian Auto Pros.

Growing up, Nancy spent her summers on Cape Cod, MA, and enjoyed sailing and field hockey. She was famous for the sour cream coffee cakes she baked every Christmas. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who cherished her family above all else.

The funeral service, officiated by Pastor Matt Yon, will be held on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 4:00 pm at Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Simpsonville, Heritage Chapel, 313 N. Main St., Simpsonville, SC.

The family will receive friends following the service.

Interment in Cannon Byrd Memorial Park will be private for the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to: Pendleton Place, 1133 Pendleton Street, Greenville, SC 29601 or Boykin Spaniel Rescue, 112 Hunter Ridge Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29316.
