Michael Anthony Emery
Michael Anthony “Tony” Emery, 55, of Simpsonville, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2022. Born in Greenville County, he was the son of the late Wilton Knight and Janie Harvey Emery.
Tony is survived by his daughter, Ashlyn Moats and her husband, John, of Piedmont; two granddaughters, Abigail and Kayleigh; long-time companion, Angela Marie Odom; and numerous cousins and extended family.
A visitation will be held at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home on Thursday, August 18, 2022, from 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm. The Funeral Service will be at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home on Friday, August 19, 2022 beginning at 12:00 pm and conducted by Pastor Mark McCall. Burial will follow the service in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park.
Tony was a hard worker and a one of kind person.Tony was fun to be around.Ive had the pleasure of being around him for many years .He worked with me on a bucket truck before I became a general foreman.He will be dearly missed by me and many others.Rest in peace my friend.God bless.
Tony was a great guy. There never was a dull moment around him. Not only was he a great person, he was an exceptional teammate at Sumter.
Tony, we will miss you brother. You’re in a better place now, so instead of being sad, we will do our best to celebrate your life and think about all the good memories we have of you.
