Mary J. Bacon
Mary J. Bacon, 80, of Simpsonville, loving wife of 55 years to her husband Anthony Bacon Sr., went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 3, 2025.
Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Agnes Green.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Chris Bacon and her siblings, Gary (Nancy) Green, James (Elaine) Green and Richard Green.
Mary was a tremendous nurse, where she practiced for over 45 years.
Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Lady of the Lake Catholic Church Cemetery at 195 Amicks Ferry Rd, Chapin, SC 29036.
Mary Janice Green Bacon was one of the nicest person I have ever known. She loved her husband, Tony Sr., sons, Tony Jr. and Chris, her Dad and Mom, her brothers, her grandmother, and her cousins. She was a wonderful nurse to her patients. Mary Janice who I called Sissy all my life loved the Lord. I know she is in Heaven singing praises to Our Father In Heaven. Mary: So long dear friend. I miss our notes and phone calls. We had a lot of adventures together . Going to W. Va.—staying with Bob and Agnes in those tiny mobile homes and going to Charlestown for those great breakfasts, the Las Vegas trip, Sanibel Island, New England , those summers at Chincoteague and the delicious freshly caught fish, and so many more.
we certainly loved those outlets. You were a caring kind friend . My elderly mom always loved your calls and chats . God Bless,
