Margie Lee Clark Queen

Margie Clark Queen, 92, of Greenville, widow of Floyd “Frank” Queen, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, November 11, 2021 while at home surrounded by her family.

Born in Sparta, GA, she was the daughter of the late Guy O. and Buena Johnson Clark.

Mrs. Queen is survived by her children, Deb Burch and her husband, Carroll, of Greenwood, and Julie Queen of Greenville; grandchildren, Jacob Burch (Amie), and Emily Burch all of Greenwood; and great-grandchildren, Leah and Sawyer Burch.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at 2:00 pm in Graceland Cemetery West with Rev. Randy Kirby and Rev. Stephen Clyborne officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the wonderful care Daisy Zubair, Gloria Aycock, and the staff of Crescent Hospice provided their mom during this time.

    I am so very sorry for your loss. I only met her a couple of times, but she certainly was an inspiration! I loved seeing the pictures and the video of her “jamming “ to the music in the car was priceless! She is now dancing with the Saints and Jesus.

    I was so glad that I could be with you today in honor of Margie! I want you to know that I will be praying 🙏 for you all during this time of sadness and sorrow. I know that she will be missed but she’s with Jesus and whole and happy. I am sending my love and prayers to you for a healing heart!

    Thinking of the family and the wonderful memories of Mrs. Queen. May her laughter, her times of dance and love she shared be always a gift and that she is a special guardian angel to you all.
