Kerry Kevin Quan
Kerry “Kevin” Quan, 76 years young, born in Missouri, the son of the late Robert and Mary Quan, loving husband of Kim Park and father of Jenny Quan and John Phillip Quan, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
He is survived by his wife Kim, daughter Jenny and son John, and brothers Tim, Shaun, Shane, Mike, Kevin Jr. and Dennis.
Kevin was the epitome of an outdoorsman. For him, the outdoors was vital to his physical, mental and spiritual well-being. An avid sportsman, he was a lover of fishing, hunting and camping. He enjoyed many years on the waters and in the woodlands of the Carolinas.
Another passion was motor sports, having raced both motorcycles and cars. Kevin also loved getting his hands dirty working on engines. Being mechanically inclined, there wasn’t an internal combustion engine he didn’t appreciate or love to tear into.
A kind and giving man, Kevin enjoyed being of service to others. Among his many community roles are school teacher, school bus driver, Sunday school teacher, and basketball coach.
Kevin proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard from 1968 to 1972.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th, 11AM at the Korean United Methodist Church of Greenville located at 209 Connecticut Avenue, Greer SC.
Inurnment will take place following the service at 2:00PM at Graceland East Memorial Park located at 2206 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC.
