Kathy Suzanne Hamlett

Kathy S. Hamlett, 67, of Simpsonville, wife of Tommy Hamlett, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.

Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Lee Burrell and the late Hazel Louise Emory.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children, Melissa Millis (Aubrey), Chris Alley (Nicole), Jody Alley (Shelley), Brad Alley (Christy), Crystal Shelton (Tony), Amanda Dix (Timothy), and Corey Hamlett; grandchildren, Jessica & Jeremy, A.J. &Madeline, Will & Mary Katherine, Gena, Alyssa, Jeff, Brandon, Destany & Drew, Caleb, Marissa, and Perrion; great-grandchildren, Raylee, Annaston, Naomiee, and Tre’; brothers, Randy (Leigh), Kenny, Terry (Kathy), Jerry (Deanna), Greg (Donnette), and Jamie (Tiffany); and one sister, Penny (Eddie).

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 4:00 PM at Reedy Fork Baptist Church with Dr. Bob Whaley officiating.

The family will receive friends starting at 2:30 PM prior to the service.

    I am so very sorry to learn about sweet Kathy’s death. I know she will be missed by not only her family but her friends (including those at Laurel Church), She was quite special. I shall continue praying for Tommy and family
