She was not only a wonderful person God gave us all, but she was also extraordinary mother, grandmother and so kind to every stranger she greeted. I loved my Grandma Penny so much and now she has gone to be with the Lord and with all her loved ones she has missed for so long. I am thankful for the many years with her as I grew up and have learned so much from her. I will always have you in my heart everyday “Grandma Penny” and will cherish those memories we built with you. Thank you, Lord for giving her the peace and comfort to come be with you.

I did not know Miss Julia, but have been friends with lots of the family members. I know that she must have been a wonderful person, from all of the good things that I have heard over the years gone by. My heartfelt sympathy goes out to each of the family. May GOD make smooth the days that are ahead. I know that each of you will have comfort ,by knowing that she is now resting in the loving arms of Jesus. Your friend in Christ, Ray Brown, Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home
