My husband and I moved in nextdoor in March of 2010, and it wasn’t long and we became friends. As time went on they became like family. Through this Journey we call life and friendship we’ve laughed together and held each other up. We’ve shared many great times, but a few tears along the way too. You couldn’t ask for a better friend/ guy. He was one of a kind. He was always willing to lend a hand as we often did for each other. He was full of fun and laughter. My heart is saddened that he isn’t on earth, but I’m thankful to know he is with Jesus and so many we know. I’m thankful to have this peace and reassurance from him. I’m really going to miss him saying (be good kid!) .I’ll hold all the time we shared dear to my heart. So for no
w I’ll see you on the other side . Your healed and all your chains are gone. I love you Jack and you were a blessing to me. What a great guy you were.

To all of you I’m sorry for your loss and heartache. God is close to the broken hearted. He does restore peace and bring comfort. He is a place of refuge. He is near call on him. Jack gave a good fight and now he’s soaring on the wings of an eagle. To be absent here is to be present with the Lord. I love you all and I’m here for you!

I grew up with Jack (or Mackie) in North Quincy. Grammar school, middle school, high school. Many great and lasting memories. Always fun , loved playing sports, always good to others. Drifted apart as we entered our twenties. Glad to see him happy with family and good neighbors and friends.

Jack lived nextdoor to me for years. We used to play gin rummy for hours in my cellar. I don’t believe we ever finished the game. I’m sorry we lost touch. It’s good to know that he settled down and had a family. I’m very sorry for your loss.

My most sincere condolences for your loss. I remember fondly staying with Jack, Eddy and Carol when we would visit both at their home and at the lake camp on Cape Cod for summer vacation. I still think of our times together……..and smile.
