Jane Hendricks Spoone

Jane Hendricks Spoone, 83, of Fountain Inn, widow of Fred Alfred Spoone, passed away on Saturday, April 10, 2021.  Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late Moses D. and Winnie Jameson Hendricks.

Jane is survived by a son, Gary Spoone and his wife, Kay; a daughter, Janet Murrell and her husband, Kelly; four grandchildren, Jason Barbre, who resided with her, Andy Spoone and his wife, Meghan, Jennifer Shockley, and Jenna Gardner and her husband, Scott; eight great grandchildren, Keelin, Jayden, Ashlin, Samuel, Zoey, Tempest, Kane, and Judah; and a sister, Alda Riddle.

In addition to her husband and parents, Jane was preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil and Pete; and a sister, Sadie.

A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church beginning at 1:00 pm.  The Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be at Cannon Byrd Memorial Park.

The family requests memorials be made to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 1279 South Frontage Road, Fountain Inn, SC  29644.

    Have known Jane since the time that she and Alfred were married. Alfred and I grew up on the Fountain Inn Mill village. and went to the Fairview Street Baptist Church with his family for many years. Jane was a very sweet and caring person.
