I never had the blessing to meet Jim; but, I’ve prayed for him and the entire family for several years now. My son, Matt, worked with Jim; and, back when he’d mentioned his battle with cancer, his name was written on my prayer list. I’ve prayed for him and you all each morning. When Matt texted me of his passing, I cried. As you may know, Matt’s Dad (my precious Tim) went to be with Jesus nearly 3 years ago, following a brutal battle with his health. I know how badly the death of our loved ones hurts. Incredibly. I’m thankful to have Jesus as my Savior and Lord. I couldn’t do it without him; and, I’m sure you understand that He is with you and will be with you, too. You continue to be in my prayers. May you feel the arms of The Lord holding you up; and, may His spirit comfort you.
    Sincerely,
    Sue

I am so sorry for your loss. But, Jim is walking the streets of Gold. Jim helped me navigate my first year in High School. He was someone I got a lot of advice from. The Everidge family will always hold a special place in my heart.

I am so sorry to learn of the passing of Jim. Seems as if our family is getting smaller all the time. I have been praying for Jim a long time but God has that perfect plan so He had Jim to come unto him. I will continue to pray for the rest of the family. Just in case you never heard of me I was a daughter of Richard Gilmer and Annie Everidge, from Jonesville. They have passed. Albert is my cousin. Uncle Jim, his daddy was my great-uncle. I talk to Jim’s sister, Renita on Face Book and keep up with many in the family. Again, I will be praying for you all.

So sorry to hear of Jim’s passing, but rejoice in know he is in his new body. My husband has worked with Jim over the years, and I had the true pleasure of meeting “the face” on the other end of the phone about a year ago. I felt a connection that comes from a shared Faith in Christ and a peace that sustains you through a journey with cancer. Be encouraged that Jim is an inspiration of someone fighting the journey with a grace that only comes from Jesus Christ.
Continued prayers for your comfort and peace as your family faces the tough days ahead.
    Holly & Jeff Wood
