Fred Jeffrey Smallwood
Fred J. Smallwood, 59, of Laurens, died on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Born in Roanoke, VA, he was a son of the late Fred Leonard Smallwood and Audrienne Hackworth Moore. He lived in Roanoke, VA until he was six years old before moving to Mauldin, SC. He graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended Greenville Technical College. He loved NASCAR racing and restoring old cars.
Fred is survived by his mother, Audrienne H. Moore; a brother, James Smallwood and his wife, Debbie, of OH; and a niece, Jennifer Dashner, her husband, Jasen, and their children, Audrey, Cole and Luke.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00 PM at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 704 Edwards Road, Greenville, SC 29615.
