    Dear Gail,

I’m so very sorry for your loss. Your mother seemed to be a very special woman. I hope you and your family will find comfort in your memories and lover for her.

  • Kathy,
A mother’s love never leaves you. It remains in your heart and carries on for generations to come. The loss we feel is heaven’s gain, an eternal reward for your mom who can now rest. Her earthly duties as your care-giver may have ended. But, that unique bond as mother-daughter you will share forever.

    My deepest sympathies,
    Mary Smits

Gail and Kathy, I thought of your mother this past week when I read of Dorane Cain Vaughn’s death. I was sad to find that she had passed away in the summer. She was so good to me, part of the village that raised me along with Donna, Gloria, Alma, Helen and the rest of those wonderful GGH Business Office women. Please know that I have thought of her many times over the years and am glad I got to see he at the Cafe a few years back.
