Ethel Marie “Lou Lou” Stewart

Ethel Marie “Lou Lou” Stewart, 59, widow of Terry Clifton Stewart, of Spartanburg, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022. Born in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of Harley E. Gore and the late Lois Mittag Gore.

Lou Lou is survived by her daughter, Tabitha Tolleson of Simpsonville; granddaughter, Adaline Cox; and three siblings, Kay Weeks, George Mittag, and Debra Pirce all of Spartanburg.

In addition to her husband and mother, Lou Lou was preceded in death by her son, Danny Sellars, II; and two sisters, Pat Fila and Jean Mittag both of Spartanburg.

A visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Home in Simpsonville on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 beginning at 12:30 pm. The Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow the service at Graceland East Memorial Park in Simpsonville.

    Lulu was a dear friend of mine she took me in her home to stay when I had nowhere to stay I loved her dearly I will miss her very much I was talking to my husband the other day tell him I needed to go see her Lulu darling you’ll be missed very much Tabitha I am so sorry for your loss cuz I loved her dearly

      I am so sorry for your loss Tabatha & Adaline I know she sure did love you two & for Debra & Kay you all are in my heart & prayers. She was one of a kind for sure . I know I will miss her she was always nice to me & Brantley last talked to her last year we were at the beach at the same time that you guys . But I loved Lou Lou we have known each other all these year we went to school together. But she will be missed so dearly. But she is in Heaven with her mom, husband , son & sisters and our lord Jesus love to you all . Judy Buddy & Brantley 🙏🙏🙏

    You know my heart is broken but knowing you gave her the best last years of her life she was so happy to be with you both she loved you both more then life its self. Just know she told me how very special you are and how special you made her my heart is with you and your daughter please know that .im so glad i got to have her in my life i love you please if i can help you please let me know

    Tabitha I don’t have words I am so glad that she lived with you and Adeline She was so happy with yall She lived her BEST life with yall She loved doing the??journals?? I think she called them something else though I know that every moment she stayed with you was special to her You helped keep her here with us for much longer than she would have been here with us any other way The love you and Adeline gave her is so evident in all your pictures that you shared with us Thank you I loved her so much She shared with me the most precious thing she ever had HER CHILDREN I tried my best and I don’t regret a single moment of being involved in some of her outrageous silly adventures We always had fun I have soooo many memories with LouLou in them Nothing will ever be able to fill the hole in our hearts and lives You are in my thoughts and prayers I yall need me I am here I love you more

    Tabitha, I’m sorry to hear of the passing of your mom.

    I know you had taken good care of your mom, including keeping her spirits high using the day to day lives of you and your daughter.
