Dr. Makram H. Meshreki
Dr. Makram H. Meshreki, 79, rested with the Lord on Sunday, March 27, 2016 surrounded by his beloved family at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, SC.
He is survived by a wife of 48 years, Mrs. Yvonne Meshreki; his children Samer Meshreki and Lotus Meshreki; his brothers in the United States, Sabri, Magdy, and Maher Meshreki and their wives and children as well as his sisters in Egypt: Ojeny, Mary, Emily and their spouses and children.
Born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt, the son of Habib and Wadida Meshreki, he moved to the USA in 1968 with his wife Yvonne; they lived in Wilmington, Delaware for 30 years. He was a co-founder, board member, and deacon of St. Mary Coptic Orthodox church of Delaware. He worked as a research chemist and retired in 1997. He moved to Simpsonville, SC with his wife in 2006. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends for his humble, kind and generous spirit.
The funeral service will be held on March 29, 2016 at 12:00 PM at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Mauldin, SC. Prayer and burial service will be held at St. Mary Coptic Orthodox Church in Newark, DE and All Saints Catholic Cemetery. Service details will be announced once finalized.
