Condolences to the family of Deborrah Selph Sellars

  • Mom I will miss you with all of my heart. You were my rock and kept me grounded through faith. I know that you were joined again with Daddy and what a great day that must of been for you. No More pain, No more tubes, and no more worry about breathing. You have a new body now with no disease and no problems. Julie and I followed everything you wanted. We didn’t let you suffer or struggle (I know that was your biggest fear.). I love you and will miss you so much! Thank you for giving me life and for being my mom through child hood to adult. I’ll miss the every other day talks. Thank you for being there for me when I needed you most. I love you and I know that you are rejoicing with all those who have gone on before and with your savior Jesus Christ. Rest in piece knowing all is taken care of. I love you!

    Dear Debbie,
We miss you greatly at the Cathedral Community Church. You
and David and the rest of the family have supported our church
and its ministries for many years. You have been faithful to your
Lord, and looked to Him in all your troubles and sicknesses.
Thank you for your fellowship and for being a good example
to your family, and to our church family. We praise God for the
promise of Heaven and its glory. We pray for the family in this
    time of their great lost.

Debbie you, David, Michael and Julie have always been some of my favorite people. I looked forward to every summer knowing I would be spending most of it with you guys. You were much more than a cousin to me, and so were Michael and Julie. Then when I started dating David we had even more fun and got into more trouble! By letting me stay with you, you saved me. You know what I mean by that. Thank you for loving my mom, being her best friend and sister. I’m so thankful I was able to tell you how much I loved you on Sunday. And I’m thankful you are with Jesus, you are not afraid, and you are with David, your parents, siblings and other family, and my mom.
Michael and Julie, you are still and will forever be 2 of my favorite people and I will always be your cousin who loves taking care of you, even though you don’t need me anymore. If you ever do, I will be there the minute you say the word. I miss you and hope we get closer instead of further away from each other since we’ve all lost both parents. We need the relationship and closeness that we used to have. I love you both so much. Dana

    Mommma,
I still can’t believe this is where we are. This was supposed to be our regular “reset”,get stronger, put up with me fussing at you for not taking good care of yourself, back up and going times. I’m usually your little rock, but this time,I’m afraid I’m crumbling. No matter that you’ve been preparing us for a while now,I still wasn’t ready. I’m still not. I do have comfort in knowing that me and Michael were able to honor your wishes, and we didn’t let you suffer or struggle. I know without question, you were proud, and ready..because you told me so. I’ll forever remember every single talk we had in the hospital, and I’ll cherish every single ” Momma, I love you”, and your “I love you too”. I said to you, and promised,as you took your last breaths, I will always take care of the boys, always love my brother, and would you please give my babies and Daddy and all our loved ones a hug for me? I will cherish your love for us all,and will forever be grateful for you,my Momma.❤
    Love you, Julie

Dear Julie, Andy, Chandler, Blaine, and Uncle Mike. Just wanted to extend our sympathies at Debbie’s passing. I can still remember how careful David was making sure that he had taken care of as much as he could for your Mom and all of you before he passed. And I can’t help but think that there was a lot of rejoicing when they were reunited in Heaven. I hope that you will be comforted to know that they are together and with your sweet babies. I will be keeping all of you you in my prayers. God bless. Love to all of you.

  • I would like to express my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of your beautiful mother, grandmother and sister-in-law. When you see an individual that has not been able to live their life out to the full such as Debbie, one may wonder why does man have to die at all. But yet but God gives us his personal promise found in the Bible at Revelation 21:4, where he tells us that very soon he will do away with death and sickness from the Earth forever, and then he will resurrect Debbie to perfect life here on a fully cleansed Earth, being reunited with family and friends and being able to experience life as God meant it to be.

  • Julie,

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve lost your mom. I know how close you were. I pray you’ve been able to get some peace and comfort. May God comfort you and your family.
