David Bates Whitmire
David B. Whitmire, 74, of Fountain Inn, husband of Myra Connell Whitmire, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late H.B. & Irene Whitmire.
In addition to his wife, Myra, Mr. Whitmire is survived by his son, David Whitmire; a brother, Jerry Whitmire; and a sister, June Studstill.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Whitmire; a sister, Joyce Smith (Rufus); a brother-in-law, L.D. Studstill; and a sister-in-law, Jeri Me Whitmire.
So sorry to hear that David had passed away, I have fond memories of our knowing each other and growing up on the Fountain Inn Woodside Mill villege. To Myra,and David, Jerry and June, I know how you will miss him and I will share that feeling. May God make smooth the path before you in the days and moths ahead. God bless each of you. I wish I had gotten to know him Big Dave. I am a friend of a little Dave his son. I’m sure he was a very captivating person as is his son. My condolences to the family.
