Daniel Ryan Casavant

Daniel R. Casavant, 31, of Laurens, passed away on Saturday, March 28, 2020.

Born in Bangor, Maine, he was a son of Michael Roger & Laura Rosia Casavant.

In addition to his parents, Daniel is survived by two brothers, Michael Robert Currier-Casavant of Greenville, and Derek Lucien Casavant and his wife, Charity, of VA; his maternal grandparents, Robert & Marilyn Rosia; aunts & uncles, Joseph Rosia, Roger Casavant, Theresa Casavant, Urban Casavant, Rene Casavant, Dennis Casavant (Cindy), Julien Casavant (Diane), Flora Kryzak (Dennis), Mary Hull and her recently passed husband, Peter, Dianne Casavant, Paul Casavant (Patty), and Mary Jane Raymond (Ronald); his nieces, Allyssa Casavant, and Madeline Casavant, and nephew, Gabriel Casavant; along with numerous cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Lucien & Madeline Casavant; and an aunt, Lilyanne Kutt.

A Memorial Service will be held at a future date. Those arrangements will be announced once finalized.

    My condolences to the family of the late Daniel Casavant. Danny and I worked together at ZF transmissions.

    To his parents, Job well done! Danny was a great guy. While working with him, he always stayed to himself and I’ve never heard him speak negatively about anyone or anything.

    I worked with Danny at ZF. He loved to laugh and cut up with us but took what he did seriously and I had alot of respect for him in this environment for that. My family and I are all praying for the family in these difficult times for them.

    Danny was loved by so many people. Everyone loved having him as a friend because he was kind, generous, funny, fun, and trustworthy. Just a one of a kind, great person. I know he’s in a better place and I pray God be with his family and friends in this time. He will always be loved and never be forgotten.

    To my cousin Laura and her husband, Mike, I send many prayers at the loss of your youngest son, Danny. There aren’t any words to lessen this tragedy, but there are many prayers of love towards you for healing and comfort. I am in grief for all you in this terrible loss.
