Charles R. Jennings

Charles “Charlie” Raymond Jennings, 73, of Mauldin, husband of Carol Ziegler Jennings, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 22, 2020. Born in Fullerton, CA, he was the son of the late Raymond Paul and Esther Warden Jennings.

Known by everyone for his sense of humor and warm heart, his effect on those close to him will last throughout their lifetimes. He was a loving Husband, Father and Papa that will be cherished for all eternity.

Surviving are his loving wife of 49 years, Carol Jennings; two children, daughter, Kristie Rodgers and son-in-law Randy of Simpsonville and son, Jason Jennings and daughter-in-law Monica of Reno, NV; seven grandchildren, Kayla Rodgers, Josh Rodgers, Kelsey Rodgers, Camryn Jennings, Katie Rodgers, Peityn Jennings, and Nolan Jennings; his brother, Richard Jennings (Joyce); his sister-in-law, Sandra Jennings; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by two brothers, Clifford and Douglas Jennings.

A Memorial Service will be held at Heritage Funeral Home on Sunday, June 7, 2020 beginning at 3:00 pm. The family will greet friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association.
