Charles Curtis Maxwell
Charles C. Maxwell, 92, of Simpsonville, husband of June Willis Maxwell, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 while at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Hendersonville, NC he was a son of the late Floyd V. and Willie Faye Brevard Maxwell. He was a long-time member of Simpsonville United Methodist Church.
In addition to his wife, June, he is survived by one daughter, Miriam (Rickey) Overstreet of Fountain Inn; one son, Curtis Derk (Mary Beth) Maxwell of Simpsonville; and three grandchildren, Sara Grace (Jason) Byers of Athens, GA, Austin (Charley) Maxwell of Piedmont, and Bryce Maxwell of Simpsonville.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Woods.
Services will be private for the family in the Simpsonville City Cemetery.
The family requests that memorials be made to: Simpsonville UMC General Fund or Shriners Hospital for Children.
