I hate to hear about Aunt Betty…I remember many times in my youth going over to their house in Michigan with my cousins and it was always a great place to be…what a great Mother she was to my cousins…what a special lady she was.

I am so very sad for the loss of my precious Aunt Betty. She loved her Lord and Savior and I know dancing in the streets with my Aunt Carolyn. She was special to me. We were very close and she was my spiritual rock. I will miss you Aunt Betty. However, I know i will see you again one day. I love you. Sharon

My heart is sad to now lose my remaining sister that I could talk to. I will miss her so very much! But yes I will see her aging never to be parted again, in Heaven. Yes Betty loved her LORD AND SAVIOR.
SHE LOVED HER FAMILY. She was a great teacher. Serving Our Lord in that way. She was a caring and loving Mother! And wife!
I love it that she no longer is suffering!
Also she loved to talk to her nieces and nephews!
Well her life speaks for itself!

WHEN THE COOLEY’S LIVED IN MICHIGAN WE SPENT LOTS OF QUALITY TIME TOGETHER. WE HAVE MANY FOND MEMORIES. I WAS SADDENED TO LEARN OF BETTY’S HOMEGOING. MY THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH DICK AND ALL THE FAMILY MEMBERS GATHERED TOGETHER TO SAY GOODBYE TO THEIR LOVED ONE. FAY AND SHIRLEY RIGGLEMAN

  • I hadn’t seen Aunt Betty in years but I can vividly see her face in my mind’s eye. I have many great memories of all the Cooley’s when we were kids, going over to Nanny and Grandaddy’s and watching Uncle Dick’s slide shows of Michigan, and then when they moved down to Greenville. Aunt Betty was the strong one in the family, despite the many trials and tribulations she faced. When Nanny passed away, Aunt Betty became the matriarch of the family and everyone looked to her for strength, guidance, and wisdom. Aunt Betty will be greatly missed by all. I wish I could come to the funeral but I’m not able to travel these days and am pretty much homebound. I hope you all understand. My love to all of you!
