Arturo León Muñoz Hernández, de 64 años, residente de Greenville, Carolina del Sur, nacido en Medellín, Colombia, partió a la presencia del Señor el 15 de mayo de 2026.
Arturo llegó a los Estados Unidos desde Colombia en el año 1990. A lo largo de su vida laboral, trabajó en la industria textil en las plantas Beattie y Inman Mills.
Fue una persona amable, simpática y servicial. Se caracterizaba por su calma, paciencia y sentido de responsabilidad. Fue especialmente dedicado al cuidado de su madre en Colombia, y así será recordado por familiares y amigos que lo conocieron y apreciaron profundamente.
Arturo fue precedido en la muerte por su padre Raúl Muñoz, Rebeca Bravo y Antonio Hernández, quienes apoyaron a su madre en su crianza; así como por su primo Albert Hernández, su tía Rosalba Hernández y su primo Carlos Augusto Aguirre.
Le sobreviven su madre, Elvia Rosa Hernández; su hija, Diana Marcela Muñoz; y sus nietos Landon Muñoz (6 años) y Mia Muñoz (2 años).
También le sobreviven sus hermanos Raúl Alberto Muñoz y su esposa Janeth María Lugo, y John Jairo Muñoz; su prima de crianza Nelly Molina y su esposo Lisandro González; sus sobrinos Fabián Alexander Muñoz Lugo y su hija Sofía Muñoz, y Alejandra María Muñoz Lugo.
Asimismo, lo sobreviven sus tíos Azael Hernández y su esposa Dolly Gutiérrez, Blanca Hernández, Rosmira Hernández, Nevardo Hernández, y María Neira Hernández (Marujita), junto con numerosos familiares y amigos que hoy lamentan su partida.

Arturo León Muñoz Hernández, 64 years old, a resident of Greenville, South Carolina, born in Medellín, Colombia, passed away into the presence of the Lord on May 15, 2026.
Arturo came to the United States from Colombia in 1990. Throughout his working life, he was employed in the textile industry at the Beattie and Inman Mills plants.
He was a kind, friendly, and helpful person. He was known for his calm nature, patience, and sense of responsibility. He was especially devoted to caring for his mother in Colombia, and he will be remembered this way by the family and friends who knew and deeply appreciated him.
Arturo was preceded in death by his father Raúl Muñoz, Rebeca Bravo, and Antonio Hernández, who supported his mother in raising him; as well as his cousin Albert Hernández, his aunt Rosalba Hernández, and his cousin Carlos Augusto Aguirre.
He is survived by his mother, Elvia Rosa Hernández; his daughter, Diana Marcela Muñoz; and his grandchildren Landon Muñoz (6 years old) and Mia Muñoz (2 years old).
He is also survived by his brothers Raúl Alberto Muñoz and his wife Janeth María Lugo, and John Jairo Muñoz; his foster cousin Nelly Molina and her husband Lisandro González; his nephews Fabián Alexander Muñoz Lugo and his daughter Sofía Muñoz, and Alejandra María Muñoz Lugo.
He is further survived by his uncles Azael Hernández and his wife Dolly Gutiérrez, Blanca Hernández, Rosmira Hernández, Nevardo Hernández, and María Neira Hernández (Marujita), along with numerous relatives and friends who mourn his passing.
May God receive him into His holy glory.
