Thank you so much. You were and are a wonderful person and friend. You and a few others are the image of what a true caregiver should be. Arnold was fortunate to have you as his caregiver and his friend.

Dear Rose Mary – my dad texted me the news of Arnie’s death Thursday evening, while my mom shared this obituary with me on Friday. All of us being sadly impacted by it in our own ways. Although I have been away from Simpsonville for many years now, the memories of playing softball and all of the fun times we all had on the field and at SUMC with the MYF remain in my heart. I hope that you all will continue to cherish your MANY memories with such a terrific man in your hearts as well as he will ALWAYS be there. Thank you both for being a part of my teenage years and instilling in me the morals and values that God wishes us to have. I know Arnie was important to so many other people whose lives he touched, even if it was only briefly like mine. I feel sure he will be waiting to meet you all in Heaven when it is your time to reunite. He will be missed. Love and prayers for you all.

Rosie, my heart aches for your loss. You and Arnold were such a big part of my life for so many years. Even though I have not been in contact as I should have, your friendship was and is, very important to me. Prayers are being lifted for you as you mourn the loss of someone so dear. May the Lord bless you and give you peace.

Debbie, it doesn’t feel real. I miss him so much. I know I will see him again. He was such a good man and husband.
PLS/ALS is such an awful disease. I know I’ll get passed this.
God has a plan that involves all of us.
