I went to school with Andrew and he never failed to put a smile on his friends face. He always was very encouraging and up lifting. I am very heartbroken to hear about his passing. My prayers are going out to his family as well. ❤️ You will be missed dearly Andrew.
Andrew was one of my best friends. I met him in May of 2017 at Calvary. We swam together that summer and for the next four years. He was the kindest, most mature, respectful young man and I truly looked up to him. I saw his work ethic at a young age and wanted to be like him. I think back on all the times we spent together and I thank god for blessing me with his presence. He was taken from us far too soon but I do not doubt that he had a purpose on this Earth. Not only did he always spread joy and happiness but he taught us a lesson- cherish every moment you have with your loved ones because you never know when that last moment may be. I will strive to live life like he did- with a smile and a helping hand. My prayers are going out to the Seagrist family and everyone that was touched by his life.
I didn’t know Andrew very well but he was in some of my classes and I used to talk to him all the time he was a very nice kid and always had something funny to say and he was always a positive person. This was a tragic way to lose him and Andrew and his family will be In our prayers.
I’m so very sorry for your loss. I first met Andrew his sophomore year of Swim team. He was an amazing young man and a great friend to his teammates. He always had kind things to say, a sweet spirit and a beautiful smile. A precious soul taken too soon. May he rest in the peace.
One of the best friends I ever had, and the first person I ever met from my high school 4 and a half years ago. He inspired me to chase my goals after I saw him conquer his weight loss journey this past year. He has big things ahead of him and he is gone too soon. R.I.P. 💚
Andrew always put a smile on everyone’s face, I loved working with him so much he made it such a brighter place. I only ever heard positive things from him. My prayers are with all his family.
Andrew always said “hey budd”. He always made sure to put others in a place of happiness. I don’t have a single memory with him that isn’t positive and fun. He said to make the most out of your life, and I know that’s just what he did. He left nothing but cheer and joy in the world. I will miss my budd so much. Wishing prayers, comfort, and peace to the Seagrist family and all of his friends. He will be missed so very much.

I didn’t know Andrew very well, but with the times we talked he was one of the most laidback people I’ve ever met at Brashier. He was good people and prayers up to his family.🖤
Andrew and I were really close last year. He never failed to make me feel like the happiest person ever and he always put a smile on my face. I will miss you very much.

Andrew never failed to a smile on my face and he was always there for anyone who needed it. He was truly a good friend
It is so hard to lose a wonderful son so young. Andrew was always so sweet. I remember that he loved Good News Club and was a great example to younger children. We will miss him until we join him in heaven but we will always remember him.
Our family has known Andrew for a long time. One fond memory of him is sledding a nearby snow-slope with our children. He always had a smile and a cheerful greeting. He was such a polite nice person. We are so heartbroken for your family.
I’m so sorrt to hear about your loss. Andrew was such a kind, happy, and vivacious young man, always cheerful. I’m praying for your family.
To the Seagrist Family,
This is a tragic and heartbreaking loss, and there aren’t words to express how sorry I am. I worked with Andrew, and his smile and happy spirit brightened many of my days. He won’t be forgotten by me.
You have my deepest sympathy for your huge loss.
Andrew had the kindest soul and I always enjoyed our time working together. His work ethic and energy was contagious to be around. Sending many thoughts and prayers.
What a devastating loss this is for his family, friends and his family here at Brashier. Although I never taught Andrew in class, I do know and have taught several of the students who offered their condolences above. From their character I know that they choose friends that are amazing, genuinely positive role models and Andrew was one of those type of friends. I was encouraged that he was a member of the Good News Club. He will be greatly missed. But because of the hope that we have Jesus, we will indeed see him again.
Sincerely with prayers of comfort for his friends and family,
Mr. Dan
We are so sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this heartbreaking time🙏🙏🙏
The Werter Family
Truly a devastating loss. Andrew always treated everyone around him with such kindness and was passionate about everything he did in life. He had such an amazing heart for others and truly made everyone feel like a friend. Prayers going out for the Seagrist Family!
Andrew was one of the nicest, funniest kids I’ve ever met. I didn’t know him that well, and he still treated me like a best friend he’d known for years. It was always enjoyable to talk to him, and I regret not getting to know him better. It tears me apart that he’s gone.
He was a great kid. Thoughts and prayers to his family and loved ones.
Andrew was one if the most genuine people I have ever met. He was always so upbeat and sweet. He was truly something special, I will always love and miss him deeply.
-Bree Hargett
Dear Seagrist family,
Our family is praying for you…that you will know God’s goodness and grace as beauty through these very dark and painful ashes. Jonathan, Jason, and I knew Andrew through school and liked and respected him for the man that he was. We had just spoken good things about him Tuesday after he served as my cashier at Publix. What a beautiful difference he made while he had the chance! Let’s all continue it…
Andrew was such a well liked, respectful, and polite young man. I find comfort in knowing that my last conversation I had with him a few months included him telling me that he was a Christian and loved the Lord. Today he is in glory! I am praying for his family as they morn this great loss.
I’m still in shock that this has happened. I’ve always thought of Andrew as a very close friend. He was one of the most positive, funny, and generous people that I knew. Whenever we hung out it was always special and whenever you needed a helping hand he was always there for you. My deepest regards for your family. Fly high bro.
Andrew was always very friendly to me and many others in the school. He was always willing to help and joke around. My regret is that I did not know him as well as I should have
Andrew was a fantastic positive young man who will be missed greatly. It will be a long long time before we all adjust to this tragedy but we will never forget Andrew and his caring ways. God has him now and forevermore . Thanks to all for prayer and support.
Uncle Donald
My heart breaks for you all. Such an unimaginable loss. I am praying for you and your sweet family. May God give you the comfort only He can provide in a time like this.
Ronda Keller Nicholson
My heart aches for you Mary, Tom, Haile and Jaime. He was such a sweet, kind , and loving kid. Truly walking with Jesus now.
I’ve known Andrew since freshman year, and we were in US history together last year. He was always someone I could talk to, and I always told him the big things happening in my life. I remember when his brother was getting married and we made the joke that I would go with him, if i had time I absolutely would have done it. He was always so funny and caring and just a genuine person, and i’m going to miss him so much.
What a JOY and honor to love Andrew! I have known him and his family for many years! His personality was amazing and made everyone around him better! They wanted to be better because of the example he set and the words he spoke! Bless him and ALL who loved him!!!
I knew Andrew my freshman year and I hate he left so soon. But for the short time, I knew him there was no one that ever hated him and he was loved so much by all and I’m gonna miss talking about the Miata or whatever but he will always be in my memory. Rest easy Bud.
andrew would always find a way to connect with anyone. i remember i introduced him to some of my favorite music and then whenever any new music came out, he would reach out and talk about it with me. it felt amazing to have a friend like him who you could talk to about some of the things that make you the happiest. he would always find a way to relate with every person and make them feel included. rest easy andrew
While we have known you all for many years, it was through Brashier that we reconnected because of Andrew and Nicholas & Maegan swimming together on the swim team. Andrew was such a fun-loving and well-liked young man. Our hearts are broken at the loss of Andrew. May God be with you in such a grievous time.
I met Andrew in freshman year. I didnt know him that well, although my brother swam with him, but every time I would walk past him in the hall, he would have a big smile on his face, which would put one on my face too. Everytime we talked, it seemed like we were best friends, he would always ask how I was doing. I wish I could have gotten to know him better. But the time that I did know him he was a great friend. You’ll be missed by many Andrew. For the Seagrist family, I, among many others, will be praying that God will ease the pain of losing him.
I had the privilege of watching and documenting Andrew’s participation on Brashier’s swim team for 4 years. Andrew was a sweet and respectful young man who always smiled and encouraged his teammates. My sincere and heartfelt condolences to the Seagrist family for your tremendous loss. May God surround you with His strength and peace during this difficult time and may you find comfort knowing that your precious son is in the arms of our Lord. You will be in our prayers.
I worked with Andrew during my time working at Publix. He was always sweet and had a positive attitude. He always wanted to get better at his job and get to know his coworkers and customers. He had so many customers that knew him by name and specifically wanted Andrew to help them. We both gave advice to each other and wished for the best for each other when I left Publix last year. He had a bright future ahead of him and his life was just getting started. I’m heartbroken to hear he has passed away. My deepest condolences go to his family during this tragic time.
Our deepest sympathy at this time to you all. Andrew was a great friend to our son Ian and he thought so highly of him. We are praying for your family, may he Rest In Peace
Andrew was one of the very first people I met when I started working at Publix. He was always so sweet and positive. I don’t think I ever saw him without a smile. To say he was a pleasure to work with would be an understatement, I always looked forward to working with him. He never failed to always help me get my groceries to the car after a long day, and we never worked together that he wouldn’t ask me how my daughter was doing or try to get a smile out of her when he would see her. My thoughts and prayers are with you, I am deeply sorry for your loss.
I’m not even sure how to feel or what to say to lighten the emotional load that has fallen upon everyone who knew Andrew. I met him my freshman year, and he sat with me at lunch the same day I met him and never moved from my table that year. I could count on him for anything because he knew everyone. He had this magnificent way of being able to connect with everyone he met and remembered the tiny, insignificant details about them so that they felt special. I’m gonna miss you buddy. Rest in peace and know that there will always be a chair for you at my table, Andrew. 💜
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
My memories of Andrew go back to when he was five years old. During one summer in college I had the privilege of watching the Seagrist children. I have many wonderful memories from that time but I will never forget the joy and love that radiated from this family. Andrew was the one that kept everyone laughing and on their toes at the same time of making sure everyone felt loved. He had the sweetest eyes that could melt anyone’s heart! I pray that God wraps his arms tightly around all of you. I cannot imagine the pain and heartbreak you are going through. May you feel God’s presence and peace in the coming weeks and months when the hurt will be the strongest. Love to you all!
Our family is heartbroken for Mary, Tom, Halie & Jaime. We didn’t know Andrew well, but through our other connections with your family, we know he was a sweet young man who offered so much goodness to the world. Our prayers are with your family at this tragic time.
Andrew I will miss our morning talks at work. You always said how you loved how I made you think about deep things. You definitely were an old soul and in a young body and I always told you that. The world has lost some of its brightness now that you are gone. I’ll miss you work buddy. I’m glad I got to meet you and be able to experience the wonderful personality you had to offer the world. You were such a positive and uplifting person. I’ll be looking out for your Total Wireless commercial that you were so proud of. Rest easy.
So very sorry for your loss. Please accept my sincere and heartfelt condolences at this most difficult of times and please pass these feelings onto your family.
from a friend at CoreRX
Few students offered a “Good Morning, Mr. Fleming” in 1st Block(Biology) as often as Andrew. Such a kind young man that my son, Vance, claimed would check on him often during his freshman year at Brashier.
Thank you, Seagrist family, for sharing Andrew with us and know that I am deeply sorry for your loss and thinking of you during this difficult time.
Respectfully,
Brett Fleming
Only got to know Andrew as a little boy, before moving back to Germany. In the few years I got to know him as a neighbor, I got to know him as a wonderful Person.
So terrible to hear this horrible news.

Dear Seagrist family,
We are so very sad and shocked to learn about Andrew’s passing. He was such a precious soul. He was always polite, respectful, kind, and positive. We really enjoyed having him on HL swim team. I was always so amazed that when I went to Publix, he always remembered my name, and I’m just “a Mom”. Hunter and all of us will miss him greatly. May you receive comfort from the Lord, who comforts the brokenhearted and is acquainted with our deepest grief.
It absolutely broke my heart when Tom shared the news with our racquetball friends. Prayers for you and your entire family as you go through this process. My deepest sympathy goes out to you all. Peace.
I will miss Andrew very much…I’ll miss him being the first one in my 4A class on Mondays and Wednesdays and saying, “Hey Ms. A. how are you today?” We made some very sweet memories this year, and I will always smile when I remember him asking me to leave a little early from class because he was learning how to drive a stick shift and he was a little nervous leaving the parking lot when it was busy. 🙂 He was a very special student and I will never forget him. Ongoing prayers continue for his parents, Jamie and Halie.
Much love,
Ms. A.

I remember going to meet Andrew for the first time to when Aunt Mary came home from the hospital. I was blessed to have a second home in the Seagrists’ with constant play and fun with cousins. Andrew was my real life baby doll, and he will always be my precious baby cousin.

Dear Mary, I can not imagine what you and your family are going through. There are no words to express my sorrow for your loss. I know that God has his arms wrapped around you during this time. I hope peace and love cradles your heart and spirit. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏻
Seagrist family,
I remember when me and Andrew starting working at Publix together, we both started at 14 years old. Over the years, I had the privilege to watch Andrew grow into the young man he was becoming at Publix. He was like a little brother everyone wanted, Andrew uplifted those around him and always kept smiles on the faces of those around him. My favorite memory of him was when we would go get ice cream after work with all of our other friends. He will be missed so much, my deepest condolences go out to your family. I will keep y’all in my prayers, Rest In Peace Andrew💗
I’m incredibly sorry for your loss. I will keep the family in my prayers during this tragic time. My heart goes out to you all.
Oh, our sweet Drew, our hearts are broken learning of your transition today. You left us too soon, too young. Mary, Tom, Haile and Jamie, no amount of comforting words from man can replace the gap created by Andrews’s departure. It may take time, but I pray that God will replace the sadness of his loss with fondness of the time he spent with us. Amen.
Mary,
Just found out today about your loss from talking to you today, Like I said today, I will pray for you everyday, Just know, he is in much a better place now. Just take care of yourself and if I can do anything for you, if just to talk, please let me know, God be with you,
