Aldemar Betancur
Aldemar Betancur, 84, of Simpsonville, husband of Gloria Gallego Betancur, died on Thursday, November 19, 2020 while at home surrounded by his family.
Born in Colombia, South America, he was the son of the late Libardo Antonio Betancur and Rosa Tulia Ocampo.
Mr. Betancur is survived by his children, Jose Aldemar Betancur, Nelson Betancur, Luz Dary Betancur, Miryan Ruiz, Gloria Ines Betancur, Blanca Lucia Betancur, Marta Patricia Betancur, Marilu Frei, Yenny Carolina Betancur, and Paola Perez; grandchildren, Luisa Ramos, Erick Agrinsonis, Jessica Betancur, Stephanie Ruiz, Erika Bolden, Sebastian Betancur, Vanessa Brillant, Bryan Ruiz, Valerie Nicole Frei, Matthew Betancur, Nicolas Betancur, and Christopher Betancur; great grandchildren, Jaylen Bolden and Samantha Brillant; and seventeen brothers and sisters.
A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Cannon Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Cannon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends following the committal service.
