Agnes W. Abercrombie

Agnes “Nanny” W. Abercrombie, 92, of Fountain Inn, widow of John B. Abercrombie, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, December 3, 2019.

Born in Waterloo, she was a daughter of the late Carl & Eulala Weathers. She was a member of Fountain Inn Church of God of Prophecy. She loved going to church, spending time with her grandchildren. “She was a woman of God.”

Mrs. Abercrombie is survived by her grandchildren, Jessica Abercrombie Kellett (Joey), Tony Crane (Gina), John Melvin Abercrombie, Jr; her great-grandchildren, Kolby & Jaxon Kellett, Justin and Bryson Crane, Amanda Abercrombie Shelton, Cheyenne, Melvin and Alex Abercrombie; her great-great-randchildren, Aiden & Eden Ashmore and Atlas Shelton; her son-in-law, Richard Crane; and her sister, Allie Mae Campbell

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Ann Crane; her son, John Melvin Abercrombie, Sr. and his wife, Cheryl; her brothers, Arthur Lee Weathers, Paul Weathers, Robert Weathers, Howard Weathers, Vernon Weathers; and her sisters, Margaret Vaughn, Ruby Calvert, and Mattie Sue Hanks.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2019 at 2:00 PM at Owings Presbyterian Church, Gray Court.

The family will receive friends at the church starting at 1:00 PM.

Entombment will be in Cannon Memorial Park.

    I want to say I thought the world of Sister Agnes!! She loved the Lord and I will miss her at church!! May God bless the family and I pray He will give you peace in the days to come!!🙏
