We recently heard of Tom’s passing to Glory. May the Lord bless you and keep you and your family during this grievous times. Your family has been friends for many years and we will certainly miss him.
I just googled Green Pond Plants to help a friend with some gardening and was looking for a specific plant. I am a long time customer of Green Pond Plants and was so shocked when I learned of Mr. Tom Boucounis passing. I can’t tell you how nice he always was to us when I shopped at the State Farmer’s Market on Rutherford Road. Last night, I watered a beautiful geranium that I purchased from Green Pond plants earlier in the season and I thought about Tom and that I needed to go by and check on some plants that I want for my garden.
Tom shared with my Mother and I so many times how much he loved his wife and children. He told us about the first date he had with his wife. You could tell his world was his family–as it should be. We would always ask how his family was doing and he was so proud of each of you. I recall that some of the children (adults now) assisted me when I purchased plants last Spring & Summer.
So, so sorry to learn of the news about Tom. He was always such a nice person and left too soon. Godspeed, our friend. I am sure you are tending a beautiful garden in Heaven.
