Sonja Hietikko

Sonja Hietikko, 67, of Simpsonville, wife of Richard Stephen Hietikko, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2017.

Born in Detroit, MI she was a daughter of the late Walter H. Braswell and the late Evelyn Johanna Johnson Braswell.

In addition to her husband, Richard, Mrs. Hietikko is survived by one son, Randy Hietikko, of Simpsonville; two daughters, Holly Hietikko of MI and Colleen H. Wryobeck and her husband, Richard, of Simpsonville; grandchildren, Cory Joseph Pavle, Collin Richard Pavle and Courtney Paige Hietikko; and two sisters, Carolyn A. Pigeon of MI and Christine E. McBurney and her husband, Stephen, also of MI.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Charlotte D. Rubin.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 12:00 PM in the chapel of Cannon Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends starting at 11:00 am at the funeral home prior to the service.

Interment will be in Cannon Memorial Park.
