Shirley Ann Spivey Beemer
Shirley Beemer, 81, died on Friday, December 12, 2025.
Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Henry & Genevieve Blackstone Spivey.
Mrs. Beemer is survived by her daughter, Angelia Kirkland; three grandchildren, Ashley Breeden, Zachary (Kaitlin) Breeden, and Joshua (Laura Mahaffey) Breeden; three great-grandchildren, Caden King, Serenity Breeden, and Jace Breeden; and three siblings.
She was preceded in death by two siblings.
The memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the chapel of Cannon Byrd Funeral Home – Fountain Inn, 1150 N. Main St., Fountain Inn, SC.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home starting at 4:00 pm.

{Have known Shirley for most of her life, We rode the school bus together. Until I changed schools. I was friends with most of her cousins ,the Blackston’s After we both had grown up , we kind’a lost touch and some years later we some how we were both back in Fountain Inn at the same time. I was a Police officer, and I married Pete and Shirley many years ago. My heart goes out to Angelia and the entire family She will be missed . by all that knew her.
