I can see her now…in that cute, little golf outfit! Goodness gracious what a terrific example of a smart, funny, caring lady she always was. I still see her in the clubhouse when we (the Foxrun Girls) would go over from the pool….someone I “wanted to be like”! Al, Ducky, Betty my most heartfelt condolences….she did enjoy and celebrated life to the fullest extent. All my love 💔
Al I always knew the two of you adored each other and the tribute you did was beautiful. I will cherish our memories at RB always-riding 4 wheelers, eating and partying together. You and yours are in my prayers. I loved Sarah and she will live on in our hearts.
Al our hearts hurt for you, oh how you loved your bride. We will miss your nightly visits on the golf cart with Sarah. You have some great memories together. We are praying for peace for you and your family.

It’s the circle of love that has never been broken that I see in your tribute and your everyday commitment. We know the emotions of loss but also the endless love that’s been shared and cherished for all of us especially Sarah. God give you strength and peace though this time of loss. Everyone that knows you loves you and your Family.

Mr. Al,Harold got to know you at the Romeo (retired old men eating out) Club at Hardee’s just a few months ago. I was always hearing about Mr. Al. One day I had the pleasure of meeting you & I immediately understood how true the statement made by Harold was. He said everybody in Simpsonville knows Mr. Al. That was made very clear to me when our new neighbors,Rob & Racheal Torres had Rob’s parents from Dallas came for a visit. Harold said he had invited Rob’s dad to join him at the Romeo Club the following morning. I said well that is nice but why in the world would Joe want to go. He said oh he knows Mr. Al. I laughed so hard. Mr. Al Harold & I are praying for you. Remember the good times with your sweet Sarah. We are sorry we never got to meet her. She was obviously a lovely person & I think you are not the only Drake family member that everybody in Simpsonville & beyond knows. We love you. Harold & Cindy Bell
Mr. Al, Randy and I send our love and sympathy to you and your family in this hour of grief. May God wrap you all in His loving arms and carry you thru the valley of the shadow of death. You will be reunited one day!

Al, I did not know your lovely Sarah, but I have no doubt of your love for her.It is hard to lose a spouse and especially as long as you two had been together. You will get through this with God’s help and that of your many friends. Prayers for you!

I am so sorry Al. You and Sarah have always been two of my most favorite friends! Bill loved you both. Maybe Bill and Sarah will welcome us to Heaven! I know this has been so hard on you and that you have always loved Sarah. My prayers are with you and your son.
Much love,

Al and family, I can’t imagine what you all are going through, and you Al 74 years of marriage. You joined together as mere children and kept your love alive for all those years, you protected and loved each other through thick and thin and now she is in the hands of an Allmighty God resting from her labors. You and the family can rest assured that she is waiting for you on those golden shores beyond the sand traps and the rough well under par. Prayers for you my friend and you family,
Wilton & Joan Fowler
