Robert W. Kilgore

Robert Wells Kilgore, 90, of Simpsonville, SC, husband of Lillian Kilgore, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 5, 2026. Born in Simpsonville, SC, he was a son of the late Wells Benson and Vida Holland Kilgore.

In addition to his wife, Robert is survived by two children, Diane Kilgore Coker and her husband, Randall, and Susan Kilgore Hindman and her husband, Ray; a daughter in law, Sharon Kilgore; many grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Michael Kilgore; two brothers; and four sisters.

He was loved by his family, extended family, and those he welcomed into the family. His love knew no bounds when it comes to others.

A Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Cannon-Byrd Funeral Home- Fountain Inn.

A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Woodruff Road Worship Center; 4971 SC-146, Woodruff, SC 29388. Entombment will follow in Cannon-Byrd Memorial Park in Fountain Inn, SC.
